It will improve slowly with physical rehabilitation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist, here to answer your query.

There is no fixed time for recovery of paretic side.It may take months and even more than a year. The most important thing for recovery is regular physical exercises of the paretic limb.It will not improve without physical exercises.Be cautious from the beginning.Regular physical exercises does not mean just 10-15 min of exercises, it means intense physical exercises on daily basis. It requires a lot of dedicated and motivated efforts as results will show very slowly.

Learn how to do physical exercises of the limb from a physiotherapist.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

He has his flip bone in the right removed due to the brain swell do you think when they replace it can improve with his movement?

Brief Answer:
That has nothing to do with movement.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

I fear to say that flip bone has nothing to do with the movement.Movement is a function of brain substance and not the bone. With physical exercises of the paretic limb, gradually 'neuroplasticity' in the brain will occur and movement will gradually improve.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, you are most welcome.
