Question: For Dr Rovena Murati
I hope you will b fine, every time i ask you question in tention. You were 100 -% right that the dark mark in my arm was just due to some injury etc, because just after 3 days it was finished completely.now there is no mark at all.
Now my question is i have many problem before that i discused many times with you like muscle pains , stomach upset , pimples in face mouth or any where, muscle twitchings. Many of these problems comes and goes but these All started after these stomach problems. And you know the main problem is my anxiety and fear of hiv or hep like big diseAse. I dont have weight loss means i recover my weight which i lost at the start of my stomach problem. I have long detailed question just to explain everything, now my problem is muscle twitching that is very much reduced but i still sometimes feel it when i work something hard. I am sleeping more now a days. And the vibration feeling that i was feeling before is also very less. Means i have observed after 3 days . Its same like muslce twitching that start when i work hard . Doest it indicates still some serious problem?
Sometimes i feel a little irritation in my throat and i have a fear of lymp nodes becaue i found some glands, i dont know i have or not, same thing i feel about armpits, i dont have pain in armpits now , and i also dont have any gland there, but sometimes i feel a little pain here i dont know its only due to anxiety or is there something real.
For stomach my problem is after one or two weeks i have lose stool. Which gives Me anxiety , i think i am more sensitive about my stomach, before i can eat everything. But now problem is i have good appetite but if i eat a little more i have stomach upset which may b stomach noise , gass or soft stool. Kindly suggest me something.

Hello XXXX!

I read carefully your detailed question.I am glad that overall your symptoms are improving .
After reading again all your complains ,I can tell that you that they doesn't indicate a serious problem.
I now that I have told you this so many times but most of your symptoms are due to anxiety ,not eating healthy foods and not sleeping enough.
As I have told you ,IBS is a chronic condition which means that you can experience symptoms time to time like diarrhea, constipation ,abdominal cramps ,gas etc.
Having lose stools time to time is not indicative for something serious so you don't need to worry.
Management of your anxiety and continue probiotics will helps with IBS.
Regarding your stomach symptoms ,the fact that your symptoms are almost gone is a very good sign.Acid reflux also need chronic management so you need to be careful and try to eat only healthy foods.Avoid as much as you can fatty, processed foods, spicy acidic foods.
Eat small frequent meals and drink plenty of water.

The irritation in your throat might be just due to your anxiety because of your fear of lymph nodes.Another possible cause of your throat irritation might be acid reflux .Since you don't have any present lymph nodes in your neck or armpit that you can clearly detect ,then the irritation that you feel in these areas is just triggered from anxiety and fear.
Considering the fact that these sensations increase your anxiety ,I would suggest to consult a physician for a physical examination so he can exclude any pathological findings in these area.
Regarding muscle twitching and vibration sensation, the fact they are reduced is very good.If you feel them only when doing hard works ,it might be normal. It is very common to experience such symptoms after hard muscle work.
You can consult a physician to perform a physical examination and evaluate your nerves and muscles.
You may also run the tests that we have discussed that include:
-Electrolyte
-Vitamin B12 and folate level
-Thyroid function tests

If these tests are normal and you don't have any pathological finding in physical examination ,your doctor may decide to give you a treatment for your anxiety.

Hope it helps.
Take care,
Dr.Rovena

Hello!

The fact that your symptoms of muscle twitching and vibration sensation reduced over time and that you feel them time to time ,means that they are not due to any serious neurological condition as you fear because in this case they would be persistent and progressive.

Diabetes can cause symptoms like frequent urination ,excessive thirsty ,weight loss ,fatigue, recurrent infection .Diabetes can affect the peripheral nerves and cause symptoms of pain, weakness, tingling ,numbness etc. This is called peripheral neuropathy but this occur after several years of diagnosed Diabetes.
I don't think your symptoms are due to diabetes.
You can test your blood sugar ,to exclude this possibility.

Take care,
Dr.Rovena
