Hi Dear!! Thanks for your query to HCM.
Read your query in context to the health concern of lower abdominal pain after a fall 1 week ago.

-My Comments on your health query-

Dear, for your age, lower abdomen intermittent pain could mean - a Contusion Injury to large bowel/or to lower abdominal organs,as bladder/uterus.

This would be subject of concern only if it causes more functional problems for you. Or if it is causing more mental and physical worry to You.

The possibility of damage would depend on the height of fall and the direct or indirect hit you got from falling on abdomen.

-Do's Suggested-

In a given condition,as nothing major has been complained over last 1 week- like nausea, vomiting, or blood in stool/or obstruction to stool passage, I would suggest you as follows-

Get Checked from Surgeon.
Get Standing X-ray abdomen-to detect for any gas leak from any bowel tear. This could be done only if the attending Surgeon advises after physical examination, else no need.
Watch for any occult or fresh blood, with or without any stomach pain.
Be on Bland liquid diet.
Avoid any strenuous work causing strain in abdominal pressure.

Get follow up Check after 1 week with Surgeon , or get checked in any eventuality of increase in complaints in abdomen.

-Update More Information -if you have any urgent problem.Else wait and watch and act on the guidelines suggested above.

Next appointment- for follow up-
Keep Me updated after a week or in case of emergency need.

Hope this would help you to plan for needful treatment on above suggested lines, with help of your attending doctors.
