Could it have moved there. I can see it very clearly on the ultra sound and was told it was fairly large but has been there a while.

Hello,
If it was truly 5 cm, there is no way it could have moved. Five centimeters is approximately 2 inches which is a very large stone. Are you sure it wasn't .5 cm? If they told you that it would pass naturally, without lithotripsy or surgery, then it must have been either .5 cm or 5 mm.
It is possible, if you are sure that it is 2 inches, that a piece of it broke off and moved down to the location you described you are having pain. It is also possible that you are having referred or pressure pain where you described related to but not immediately from the stone.
If you are having a lot of pain, since the ultrasound, it is possible a piece broke off and is trapping urine there, causing distention and pain. If this is the case, go in to be seen as this is a new problem that needs to be seen today.
What is the plan for what your doctors want to do about the stone?
