Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation While Having PCOD
Question: Hi I have been using the below medication since 3 months, but have got my menstrual cycle only once yet. I.e after a month of starting this medicine.
Usually my cycle was about 1 and half month since one year.. But it got more delayed since April 2015.
I had gone through ultra sound scan for my ovaries.. guesses by gynecologist was possibility of PCOD
do you think continuing the below medicine would be helpful for me ?

The medicines you are taking are not of much help. Stop them.

so these medicines are just for no benefit ? is PCOD normal or is it to be worried about ?
I understand , you ask me to reduce weight.. but it will surely take time atleast an year. Until then can you help me with a solution to get back cycle.
Any routine that I should concentrate or a exercise that I need be regular with..

PCOD is normal and is present in many women. Many women with PCOD have normal pregnancy and delivery in future.
If you are not trying for pregnancy, you can use oral contraceptive pills available in market on regular basis to get cycles regularly.
Your routine should include low calorie diet ( about 1000 calories only) in consultation with a dietician and regular exercise ( under a trainer in a gym) which will help in reducing weight.

Instead you take ovulation induction tablets like clomiphene citrate and get regular follicular growth ultrasound scan done to identify egg growth and subsequent ovulation which will suggest the best day to try for pregnancy.
