Brief Answer:
Cause is also to be non specific viral infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Mr XXXX

As the child is not having any other associated symptoms, the cause of Fever is likely to be non specific viral infection. Antibiotics are generally not indicated. The fever is usually self limiting and subsides in a week time .

I would suggest you the following

1. In place of flexon (PParacetamol ) you can use Ibuprofen syrup

2. I would not recommend adding any antibiotics

3. Kindly get Urine routine and microscopic examination to rule out urinary tract infection

4. Slight increase in neutrophil with normal leucocyte count , there is no cause for concern. It is seen in viral infection

5. Ensure adequate intake of water : 1 cup of water 1 hour before every meal and 1 cup of water 1 hour after every meals will ensure adequate intake of water . It is important to maintain adequate hydration as dehydration will lead to dehydration fever

6. Ensure intake of adequate nutritional diet

Wishing your son speedy recovery.
