Brief Answer:
Pls ask future wife to take HepatitisB vaccination

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail. You have two problems to be discussed
1. How to cure your Hepatitis B
2. What precaution to take so that your partner does not get infected

1. Curing your Hepatitis B. It will be good idea to know whether you have an acute infection or a chronic infection. Your doctors will know about it.
- In case your hepatitis B infection is acute, there are chances it will go away on its own you may not need treatment. Instead, your doctor might recommend rest and adequate nutrition and fluids while your body fights the infection. You must also follow up with your doctor to know status of any liver damage.

- If you've been diagnosed with chronic hepatitis B infection, you may have to take treatment to reduce the risk of liver disease. You are already consulting a doctor and taking Udiliv. There are treatments involving anti virals and interferons and these are given only in selected patients. Please continue as per your doctor. You must educate yourself to prevent passing the infection to others.

Please get your antibodies tested regularly.

2. Once you have the condition, the only way to protect it from your future wife will be to make her take Hepatitis B vaccination course before you have any sexual intercourse. The hepatitis B vaccine is typically given as three or four injections over six months. She can't get hepatitis B from the vaccine.

All doctors and nurses take this vaccination to prevent Hepatitis B transmission from patients.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.
