Brief Answer:
hello

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for the query.
I guess you should not get worried.
Hepatitis A is usually a self limiting illness which causes swelling of liver hence causing jaundice.
There is no medicine available to treat this infection but this infection is usually self limiting and your body will get rid of this infection on its own. Other medications prescribed are supportive to liver only.
Only thing that helps is rest, good nutrition and avoid medications without doctors prescription that can worsen liver damage.
No specific diet restrictions are recommended, hence no need to unnecessary take fat free diet, only boiled food as this will worsen your appetite and hence delay recovery.
Ensure you check your liver function and prothrombin time once a week.
Ensure hygienic diet and clean boiled water for drinking.
Hope this answers your query .
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Happy to help.
