Suggest Treatment For Headache, Pain In Lower Limbs And Shoulders

Question: Hi I underwent endoscopic excision of colloid cyst in the third ventricle 2 months back, am on medication since then. I rested for a week and thereafter resumed working. I am taking Strocit 500 and Levipil 500 daily, the doctor has prescribed these for 90 days. But 2 days back I had symptoms of headache, pain in my lower limbs, also felt pain on my left shoulder, arm and leg with a mild pressure feeling in chest. Should I consult my neurosurgeon immediately?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The symptoms you are having are likely due to the medicines you are taking.
Both strocit and levipil cause headache.
Lethargy, dizziness, fatigue and weakness are the side effects of levipil.
Chest pain and tightness is a known side effect of strocit.
However, pain in left shoulder seems unrelated.
I suggest you to consult your neurosurgeon as soon as possible so that you can be properly evaluated and treated.
