Suggest Treatment For Hard Bump Inside Mouth

Question: I have a small (slightly smaller than a pea), hard bump on the inside of my mouth behind my bottom teeth.

As per your complain the cause of formation of the bump will depend upon the location of the bump, so kindly provide me the following details so that I can guide you better towards the treatment:

1.Is the bump located on the gums behind the bottom teeth or it in under the tongue?
2.Is it sore or painful?
3.Is it of the colour of the adjacent mucosa or there is changed color like whitish, bluish or reddish?
4.For how long is it present?
5.In case if it is on gums then is the tooth over it has any decay?
If possible to send an image of the bump it will further help.

As per the answers and the image [but it is not clear and very blurred] it looks like a Mucous cyst or Mucocele that is formed due to either clogging of the duct of minor salivary gland leading to swollen gland or ruptured duct of the gland which leads to accumulation of mucous into the soft tissues and forms a bump..
It is a harmless condition and many a times resolves on its own, you can do concentrated salt water gargles atleast 2 t0 3 times a day as it helps in regressing the mucocele..
If still it shown no signs of regression even after 15 days consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and if required he/she can advise you to get a biopsy done for confirmation..
Persisting Mucoceles can be removed surgically..

Its not a mucous cyst. I will visit a physician that can actually see and touch it. It is hard. It seems more like a mandibular XXXXXXX

As per your further explanation if it is located exactly over the inner aspect of jaw bone and on palpation it is bony hard and if you can feel the bone exactly then definitely it can be an overgrown bone.
In case if it is a bony XXXXXXX although it is also not at all a harmful condition and the only treatment for it will be surgical removal of the torus..
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated as he is the right person who can treat you because a bony torus or a mucocele after a clinical evaluation and palpation will help in confirming the diagnosis and either can be treated by surgical removal under local anaesthesia..
But you need not to worry as both the conditions are harmless and very easily treatable..
