Question: Hello,
From last 4-5 months my hands tremor. Right hand more than the left... I started having ciplar-LA 40 mg from last 4 days on doctors advice... I also feel my hands have become week. Strength in hands have reduced. Little pain in shoulder

Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Ciplar LA is just going to help symptomatically or in case it's essential tremors.
The weakness in hands and wasting if there is a sign of cervical compression or Myelopathy.
I can't examine you else would have given you a provisional diagnosis based on examination.
However you should immediately get the following:
1. MRI cervical spine.
2. Thyroid Function test (if not yet performed)
Don't delay. Get them done and revert back to me.
