Question: Hello Doctor,
My hands shivers a lot now a days. Before it use to shiver but a little but its has been increased a lot. Just yesterday's instance- after 15 minutes of my lunch I went to have juice. I could not lift the juice glass properly as I shivered a lot. As people were around, I was bit shy so didnt have my juice. Please let me know what might be the cause. Please help me which doctor(specialist) I need to visit. It is really not common.

Brief Answer:
Consult a neurologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mr. XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your query.

From your description it looks like intentional tremors, it is a neurological issue and the best doctor to consult will be a neurologist.

A proper clinical examination is needed to confirm the suspicion and you may require additional investigations based on the clinical findings.

At this time I would suggest you to stop drinking coffee if you do.

Anxiety can also be a reason, but it is advisable to rule out organic causes so please do consult a neurologist at the earliest.

Hope that answers your query, feel free to write back to me if you have any more questions.

Wishing you good health.

Best regards
