Brief Answer:
Pulse therapy Itraconazole

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HealthcareMagic,

Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the toenails or fingernails. Onychomycosis causes fingernails or toenails to thicken, discolor, disfigure, and split.

I prescribe to my Patients Three pulse of Itraconazole capsule. This capsule comes in 100 mg strength. Patient need to take 2 capsule twice daily for 7 days, then 3 week off (no medicine).Repeat medicine for 7 days. In this manner three pulse has to be taken.
For topical application Amorolfine nail gel has to be applied once weekly to the infected nail only.

First of all you need to be diagnosed properly whether nail infection is actually Fungal infection or something else. Similar presentation is seen in nail lichen planus, nail psoriasis, Trachyonychia etc.
