Can Selenious Yeast Tablets Be Taken For Hypothyroidism Treatment?
can I please take selenious yeast tablets for hypothyroidism treatment while I am already battling toes and finger nails yeast infections? for the past 7 months I've been taking thyrozol but after lab results today, the doctor prescribed Euthyrox and selenious yeast tablet, so I would like to know whether its safe to take it or worsen the nails infection

Thanks for contacting HCM. dear patient Your doctor has prescribed selenious yeast tablets so as to provide you with selenium supplement, which is needed for proper thyroid function and for immunity. It will not affect your toe and finger nails yeast infection. But remember that all selenium supplements are meant to be taken for short to medium term as long term use can cause harm. regards
