Suggest Treatment For Frequent Urination

default
Posted on Tue, 9 Aug 2016
Question: I have had trouble holding my urine to the point of having an accident and frequent urination for the last 9 months. Two weeks ago I had gross hematuria when I peed and it has happened twice since. No pain or discomfort when voiding. My PCM did three UA's. The first two came back normal, the third showed red and white blood cells and no infection. My blood tests also show elevated white blood cell and fatty platelets. My PCM seems lost.

recurrent painless bleeding in urine, is not normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

First, you should know that, blood in urine is not normal.
As you've had two episodes of painless bleeding,it's a cause for concern.
It needs an urgent and thorough investigation, with urine, blood and scan.
The following steps must be done :

1. Get examined by an Urologist.
2. urine culture.
3. blood routine,creatinine,RBS,platelets,LFT,PT,and APTT.
4. CT-IVU. (contrast scan ).

After seeing these reports, one can have an idea about cause of bleeding and how to treat you,so that you don't get a recurrence.

You may send the reports here, for an expert opinion.
