Brief Answer:
fibroids

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for your question.
Fibroids are an abnormal growth of the uterine muscle. There is not much you can do to take care of the fibroids but usually they regress when you go through menopause. There are a few medications that can shrink the fibroids but you would need to discuss these with your doctor to see if they are right for you. If they become very enlarged, painful or cause a lot of bleeding then sometimes women need them removed surgically.
The elevated CA 125 is another issue and has nothing to do with fibroids. CA 125 is used to screen for ovarian cancer in women at high risk and used to follow women with ovarian cancer. If you have an ovarian cyst and an elevated CA 125 then you definitely need the CA 125 repeated and you may need further testing on your ovaries.
