As per my dr suggestion she is on P250(9-10ml) and meftal P (11ml) in 3hrs interval. Giving her cephodem 100 from today 7.5ml. Could you please let me know if this is fine? She vomitied 2 times today the idly and milk and am really confused as what food to provide.

please not the blood test shows viral fever. Her fever comes back every 3 hrs and raises to 102, sponging not effective.

Brief Answer:
Viral fever may last a week, dont worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi
thanks for writing to us.
Viral fever may last upto a week.
Dont worry. You have already done blood tests, so you can safely wait.
Coming to the medicines,
1. P250 9 ml can be given only once in 4 hours not before 4 hours.
2. Meftal P can be given only once in 8hours.
You can give some gap between these two.
Continuously sponge her with normal temperature water soaked cloth.
Cepodem can be continued as per your doctors advice.
Vomiting will happen mostly after cough, ecause coughing increases intra abdominal pressure.
No need to treat it.
Continue soft liquid or semisolid diets.
Avoid spicy, oily foods.
I sincerely hope that fever should settle in a few days.
If not consult your doctor again.

Wishing your child speedy recovery

Regards

Brief Answer:
no not all

Detailed Answer:
You have maintained 6 hours gap between 2 doses of p250.
That is OK.
But give next dose of meftal p eight hours after first dose of meftal. If you have given earlier just make sure of.this from next dose.
Don't worry. There won't be any gastric issue.
