Question: My daughter 7years old is diagonised with farsighteness. She has+5sph,0.75cyl,75axis in OD and +5sph,0.75cyl,110axis in OS. Doctors suggested to wear glass. Does my child need to wear glass through out her life time. Is there any chance of her power getting reduced. Can healthy food items or eye exercises reduce the power of eyes.

Brief Answer:
She is having hypermetropia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.
I reviewed the history. Your 7 year old daughter is having hypermetropia/ far sightedness.
The treatment of this refractive error is by use of appropriate spectacles.
As the age increases with the growth of the eye ball, the hypermetropia decreases. Hence there is a chance that the power can get reduced. But it may not disappear totally and she needs to wear spectacles.

Once reaches the age of 18 or more she can undergo LASIK surgery for correction of the remaining amount of refractive error.

Eye exercises are not known to decrease the refractive power.
Health food rich in Vitamin A, good reading habits in good illumination... are known to prevent further increase in the refractive power.

Hope I have answered your question and the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
