Brief Answer:
This could be irritable bowel syndrome!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. Do you have any pain alongside this belching? If you do, then this may be more of acid reflux than any other disease condition and treatment for acid reflux should have been helpful. However, the non response to treatment and may be the absence of pain would guide us to look at other possible causes.

Excess gas in the stomach is often caused by an increase in the amount of fermentation that goes on in the stomach. This happens most of the times when we eat different varieties of food items. This produces a perfect milieu for fermentation and excess gas.

My immediate plan would be that you adjust your diet. Try to avoid mixing several different foodstuffs at any one time. observe and see what the difference with this would be. If this helps, then this would be a major step forward.

Your symptoms are not suggestive of gall bladder disease. Gall bladder disease often presents with cramping pain under the right ribs which gets worse shortly after meals.

I hope this helps, I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel fee to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
