Question: My flaccid penis length has shrunk and the skin on my penis has loosened. What can I do?

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have doubt about the size of your penis to be small or shrunken since very recently.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Have you measured the length of your penis yourself or with the help of health personnel?
2) Have you measured length of penis in standing position by standing in front of mirror?

At the outset I would state certain facts about the penis
1) Penis once comes to certain level at the age puberty never shrinks .
2) Unlike other parts of the body Penis does not contain any muscle so it can not be strengthen by exercise (Jelqing)

The length of the penis in flaccid sate for average male at the age 20 years ranges from 7 cms to 11 cms.

Please note that the length of the penis in flaccid state has no significance at all .It is the hardness on erection that is important from the point of view of sexual satisfaction of both the partners.

It is your anxiety that is bothering you .

Please consult qualified Urologist for proper clinical evaluation and to confirm whether you really do have small penis and do you really need any treatment .

It shrunk one night when I was yanking on penis really hard while it was flaccid. It imediately recoiled after this and the skin is now incredibly loose on it. /i was reading that if you pull to hard on the penis it can have a rubber band effect that causes it to shrink. I am worried this is what has happened. There is less feeling in my penis I have trouble getting and maintaining erections now. There is also a dark blue horizontal line in the center of my penis now. These problems have been going on for two months and I am deeply depressed that I have permantly destroyed penis.

The penile skin is not fixed to underlying subcutaneous tissue like skin on rest of the body..
Do not give toomuch importance to the penile skin while in flaccid state .

The blue line on penis is likely to be a tributary of Dorsal Vein if penis and it is seen in 50% of the males .

Do not get worried about these irrelevant facts and disturb yourself.Try to allay your anxiety.
