Brief Answer:
needs audiometry.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having tonsilar stone with OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).

Answers and solutions for your queries.

1. Thermal welding tonsillectomy advantageous in lessen bleeding, pain and helps speed up healing, when compared to conventional method.

2. Here with I am attaching the details of ENT surgeons from baltimore/DC area, you need to make an appointment for thermal welding tonsillectomy ( http://doctor.webmd.com/find-a-doctor/specialty/otolaryngology/maryland/baltimore).

3. Tonsillolith (tonsillar stone) or OSA (obstructive sleep apnea) are the indicators of tonsillectomy. Preservation may land up in complications like chronic tonsillitis or para tonsillar abscess. Kindly go ahead for the surgery.

4. Buzzing sound could be due to age related (sensorineural ) hearing loss. You require audiometry to rule out the cause of buzzing and associated hearing loss.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
