Question: My father has increased blood sugar and need your suggestion on next steps.

Sir, in this stage, for the present medication, Add one tablet Voglibose 0.3mg in the morning and one in the evening along with food. Get this prescribed by your treating doctor.
Continue that for 15 days and check for sugar levels, If they are on reduction side then continue the same. If after using this, still higher than 300 postprandial, then you need to go for insulin, after getting prescribed by your treating doctor.
Along with this mild exercise like walking is advised along with low carbohydrate diet.
