Question: hi I am 33 years old male .. I have dry cough.. can I suggest some syrup for me... my voice is also a bit changed..

Acute Pharyngitis is infection of throat which could be caused by virus or bacteria. It is important to differentiate between these two as treatment is different for these two .
I advise you to get Throat swab Culture Sensitivity test done which will be helpful in differentiating between Viral and bacterial infection. Kindly revert back to me with the report.
Till then do salt water gargling, drink hot water, Avoid Non veg and oily food . Avoid Citrus Fruits.
You can use Syrup Reswas for the time being. ( Kindly get a prescription from your doctor )

I went to Dr.Lal pathlabs for test.. they say there is not test as throat swan culture sensitivity test.. but only h1n1 test.. could you pls specify to get the tests done..

thank you I have got that test and tomorrow I shal have the results. also this is an recurring problem with me.. I had showed to an ent specialist he said I have a DNS in my nose and a there is more discharge of flum.. hence a small infection leads to this.. I have had enough of augumentin duo 625 as antibiotic.. please suggest it there are anymore tests to b done...

If your frequency of throat infection is 5 or more per year then it is advisable to get your DNS corrected through surgery as DNS increases the chance of sinus and throat infection.
Also make sure you follow a healthy diet , stay away from crowded or sick people especially during winter and rainy season.
When you are not sick eat more of citrus fruits.
