Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough

Question: hello sir
I have a kid of 2yr 8month old. He is suffering from dry cough since last day. Most probably due to high atmospheric temperature and frequently used of cold drink. should i give him a dose of ascorill cough syrup for relief.

If his weight is between 11-14 kg then 2.5 ml is the dose and for 15-18 kg 3 ml is the dose
