Brief Answer:
No worries, nothing serious.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

It is very much understandable this could be bothersome at times. The conspicuousness of this muscle shall depend on the physical make up of persons and their genetics. Slimmer persons generally have more outstanding sternocleidomastoid muscles.

In case you have not experienced any trauma lately, and it is not painless, I not think you should be worried.

I think should just be because you are anxious or have taken a close and exaggerated look at the mirror lately. Problems with such muscles, if pathologic or when they experience a change, your close ones should be able to notice a difference.

If no one has made mention, you experience no pain, and have not recent history of trauma or inflammation around the neck region, I do not think you should worry.

No need to bother much.

Thanks and kind regards,

Thank you bain. I have been anxious alot and i see that its like noticable and it just freaked me out. I look at old pics and even when i was younger its always been there but its better hearing things are normal from docs instead of your own mind.
