Question: I have large turbinates and it is dificult to squeeze air through sinuses. So sometimes i use some force to inhale. I afraid i might be pull the aeriola or detach the aeriola in the lungs. Should i be concerned or should i just get that notion out of my head.

Brief Answer:
RF ablation of turbinates is recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. It is not possible for you to damage the lungs by forcefully inhaling through an obstructed nose.

2. Get lung function tests done. If they are normal, there is no cause for worry.

3. Radio-frequency ablation of nasal turbinates will solve your problem.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
