Question: Diarrhea for four days. Vomiting and fever at first but now diarrhea remains severe. Tried Imodium today but not helping. What to do?

Dear patient,

this stomach/bowel infection (gastroenteritis, through virux or bacteria) you are most likely having will cure itself in the next few days. Immodium not necessary, better take in some fennel or herbal tea, avoid fatty foods and milk products, only light food advisable. If there is no blood in stool, no heavy pain, no high fever then it is normally getting better very soon.
