Brief Answer:
It doesn't cause narrowing.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

Prolia ( Denosumab ) is a new drug used to treat Osteoporosis. Though one of the side effect mentioned is Back pain , this is temporary ranging from few days to a couple of weeks and wears off after that.

But this pain is caused not due to the narrowing of vertebrae but just as a side effect and it shall not decrease ( or even increase ) the intervertebral space.

So if you have been advised Prolia then you can go ahead and take it , no problems with that.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.
