Suggest Treatment For Cracks And Bumps On Penis

default
Posted on Sat, 25 Oct 2014
Question: Hi, for the last few months I've had an issue on my foreskin, it started with it getting dry and cracking, my foreskin got tight, it happened before so I wasn't too worried eventually that healed the pain went away but then I noticed what looked like scars and I thought to myself "that makes sense" because the cracks hurt like hell.

Now I'm noticing bumps on my penis that's kinda itchy not all the time but it happens and I figured that might go away but now it's spreading and I'm super worried.

I don't know what to do. I don't think it's an std. Maybe scabies or a bad scaring from the yeast infection. When I clean my penis I do see white dead skin like err.. yeast

Brief Answer:
Localised skin inflammatory changes.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to health care magic. I am Dr Ganesh.

1.The history and symptoms mentioned by you and images suggest infective / inflammatory process on the area of healed infection.

2.Scarring is seen after a healed infection. The bumps you are experiencing could be localised inflammation - as you have assured with no possible cause to get STD.

3. In this case i would recommend you to maintain local hygiene, Clean the gland area with the help of soap where you will be gradually able to pull the foreskin - clean the area with antiseptic liquid, even the area where you are feeling bumps.Apply some anti inflammatory cream.

4.Another important remedy - do not scratch, squeeze, compress the area - if you do that, you will complicate and delay healing and recurrent infections possible.

5.Wear the soft clothing, avoid clothing that will irritate the area. So try above things for 2-3 days if you don't find any response - then suggest you to see your GP - get examined and treated accordingly ( as in some infective cases a course of antibiotics will be helpful). Good luck.
