Brief Answer:
Give syrup with antiallergic and decongestant

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

Most common cause of cough/cold in this age is some viral infection or allergy.
Asthalin contains salbutamol a bronchodilator which helps in relieving airway spasm.
Syrup with combination of chlorpheniramine an antiallergic and phenylephrine a decongestant like Tminic/maxtra will help.
This is a prescription medicine so please get it prescribed by a physician.
Giving steam inhalation will also help.It may take 4-5 days for complete resolution of symptoms.
Observe the baby and if there is poor oral acceptance, increased respiratory rate, retraction of chest, irritability or high grade persistence fever consult your pediatrician.

If you have any more query, please let me know.
Wishing for your baby's speedy recovery.
Regards
