Of the three medications you have mentioned none of then can clinically cause significant constipation.
Long term diabetes can sometimes result in chronic constipation.
The reason why I am discussing the same is , you should try finding the cause and treat the same for long term benefit .
Presently the for symptomatic relief .
He can take liq Duphalac or liq Cremaffin 30 ml once before going to bed . These are safe in a cardiac patient

Brief Answer:
A Yearly treadmill stress test is best way forward

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
Generally arterial grafts which are used to do bypass in today's era give excellent long term results . So both the lesion you mentioned must have been grafted and at present your father has optimum revascularised coronaris .
For future prevention we just have to make sure he doesn't miss upon his medications and has a holistic lifestyle including diet and some forms of aerobic exercise .
For heart , a yearly TMT would be enough to know the status of the heart in a non invasive manner , also it would set a benchmark against which his activity can be graded , a 6 monthly lipid profile to make sure that the cholesterol and tryglycerides are well under control
Rest of the healthcheck can be decided by the physician based on his Co morbidity and health status at that point of time

Regards Dr. Mody
