Brief Answer:
Will settle soon, its colic pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to healthcare magic.
From your history it looks like your baby is suffering from colic pain.
Colic pain happens to almost all infants from one to 4 months of age. In some babies it may last even longer. Though the exact cause is not known, it could be due to decreased lactase in the baby gut, swallowed air while feeding, inadequate liquid intake by the mother etc.
I usually prescribe my patients the drops you mentioned , but I also advice the mother to drink liquids more .
Proper burping after each feed for atleast 20 minutes by patting on the back gently willhelp.
As the baby gut matures, in a few weeks from now, this will settlle on it's own.
Don't worry.
Neopeptine wouldn't be of much use.
Wishing your baby speedy recovery.

Regards

Dr Arun
