So I have it for 13 years! Been to all doctors and some say I have man denembarqement syndrome, or positional vertigo! None had been able to cure me! I have been to XXXXXXX XXXXXXX and sll over the country looking for help! I don't believe I should have to live like this forever! If that is the case it's not living! This started with a virus in 2002! No one has any real answers on treatment! Basically most Drs don't want to help bc they don't know enough about it! So I thought I would look here to see if there is something I could get to help me live somewhat if s life!
Brief Answer:
can try epleys manuovre for positional vertigo
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
In debarqement syndrome, the person feels better while riding a car, which is not the case with you ,so I do not think you have debarquement syndrome.
Since you do not have any other symptoms, positional vertigo is a possibility. Positional vertigo responds well to labyrinthine sedatives. You can try Prochlorperazine. Talk to your doctor about it. There are some vestibular rehabilitation exercises. They are called Cawthorne Cooksey exercises. You can look for them on YouTube. These exercises if done regularly, definitely help to reduce positional vertigo. For positional vertigo, you can talk to your ENT about Epley's manoeuvre. This manoeuvre if done correctly can cure positional vertigo.
Feel free to follow up,
