Suggest Treatment For Chronic Rhinitis

Hello ,,
I have tried the following antihistamines and gargling with salt water
I did not find the difference , but it may be useful gargle with salt in the long run
But antihistamines is useless because of the symptoms that I have no symptoms of allergy
I do not have sneezed or pain in the sinuses
What do you think dear doctor

Thanks for asking again,
Since your rhinitis symptoms are chronic,then I may agree with you when you say that antihistamine is not working.
The reason might be longtime use of the same antihistamine tablet and because of this,tachyphylaxis develops (means you will require more dose rather than usual).
So, one would require more dosage or need to change the antihistamine drug.
So here,I would like to ask you,which particular antihistamine drug you are using since long time.
And also let me know the status of improvement from mucus in the nose along with phlegm as we discussed previously.
However,the mainstay of treatment remains steam inhalation with warm salt water gargles in this kind of chronic cases.You should continue with that since it is helpful.
May be you have taken antibiotics,
But as a treating physician and as I said earlier,I am NOT in favor of taking them since majority of cases rhinitis are due to viral infection or due to some allergic but very rarely due to some bacterial infection.
Get back to me with your follow-up query and let me know about symptomatic improvement.
I would like to discuss it further.

Today I went to a specialist ear, nose and throat ,,
And he gave me the following medicines and said to me, come after a week , radiography to see if there are any polyps
These drugs
FACTIVE 320 GM TAB X 5 ONCE DAILY Oral
LEVOZAL 5 MG TAB X 20 ONCE DAILY Oral
AIRFAST 10 MG TAB X 30 ONCE DAILY Oral
