Brief Ans-Chronic Back pain / Under Assessment

Hi Dear !! Thanks for your query to HCM.

Read and reviewed your query and feel concerned about your health issues.
I understood your health concerns as follows-
I am really concerned for your health concerns,as after going through the ordeal of multiple surgical interventions lately, the current pain in back after work injury for last 3 mths has become a problem for your attending doctors.

I would need more info to evaluate the cause for it.
What I understand you had latest melanoma surgery 2 yrs back.
And 5 yrs back you had muliple level laminectomies which failed to give relief and
You had to go for RFA at multiple levels.
With history of type 2 diabetes, you are really worried and anxious about the chronic back pain from work injury-for last 3 mths.
In this scenario-More info is needed before any suggestion is given herewith.

Need More updates-as follows-
Can you update the type of work injury in short with more details?
What sort of work you do? and expect a work injury from it?
What investigations -like CT/MRI- your doctors- did for assessing this pain?
Did you show it to Orthopedic Surgeon/ Spine Surgeon/ Neuro-Spine Surgeon?

Update the spine levels which were treated with RFAblation?
Update any past and the current CT/ MRI reports and doctors notes- if any of the last back pain you had in 2011 and currently if done now ?
Any complications after that surgery in 2011?
HOw was the recovery after RFA treatment?

Is the current chronic back pain is at different site and location, than that pain in the past?
Update more on the type of the current back pain- ? numbness? Burning ? lightening? shooting ? Radiating pain down the back of the leg to ankle?
Was it alright after surgery and for how long it was without any problem?
Was there any complication in post-operative period?

Please update as to how this pain is different from the past one?

I would need more information about your chronic back pain problem as asked above.

Welcome with more query in this regard.

Good Day !!
