Hi
I am Dr Mittal
I have read the query
I will try my best to help you.

It is true that the respiratory systems of people with asthma are compromised. They can catch infections easily and thats probably what has happened to him as well. This may in fact be a viral infection.

I would suggest following steps
1. continue inhalers
2. steam inhalation 4 times a day
3. gargles 4 times a day
4. paracetamol sos for fever
5. plenty of fluids.
If this does not make him feel better, we may have to start a course of antibiotics. A course of multivitamins with ginseng may help

Best of luck
