In case of chest , stomach and back pain there can be a number causes and the presentation doesn't signify a specific condition alone. EKG should be done to rule out the possibility of a cardiac cause for the chest pain. The non specific malaise and generalized aches/ pains, fever point largely towards an infective cause. It could be viral or bacterial. The physical exam would be require to isolate a focus of infection e.g upper or lower respiratory, G.I etc. Investigations including chest x ray, CBC, ESR, urinalysis, Typhidot antibodies should be advised based on the history and physical. Treatment would depend on the cause evident in the investigations in consultation with your doctor.
