Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for submitting your question. It is possible she may have food impacted or lodged in the esophagus. Try to drink small amounts of warm water to see if this helps. If the symptoms do not resolve within a short period of time or essentially less than 30 minutes then I think she should be evaluated in the local medical facility or emergency department.

continue to try to have a drink some water. If the symptoms do not fully improve please take her to the nearest medical professional for evaluation. Sometimes food can become impacted and it might be necessary to remove this with a special procedure. Hopefully the food will slowly dissolve and she will feel better in a short period of time but if not again please consider the advice above

thank you again for sending your question.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
