Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

I understand your query and concern.

Voice change is quite frequent in common cold and cough.

So far you have received the right kind of medications from your doctors .

Voice rest for 2-3 days also seems very apt.

But since your a musician and a singer I truly understand your need for quick and a complete recovery.

For this you need to follow both herbal and medical methods.

I advise you to have a flexible laryngeal endoscopy and Stroboscopy.
These tests can accurately determine the vibratory motion of your vocal cords.

You need to consult a vocal therapist for the following treatment aspects to restore your voice quality.

1.Indirect Voice therapy.
2.Confidential voice therapy.
3.Resonance Voice therapy.
4.Vocal function exercises-VEF's

Meanwhile avoid excess salty and sugary food stuff.

Citrus fruits, honey ,vocal steaming will help.

Fenugreek ,Ginseng and green tea will help to improve the circulation to vocal cords and remove the toxins.,

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.
