Brief Answer:
Warm hot baths will help make the bump go away

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

The vagina and its surrounding tissue is very sensitive, and strongly fragranced products like wipes, powders and the like cab frequently cause skin irritation and sometimes a rash.

Hydrocortisone 1% cream, which is sold over the counter applied to the area twice a day should help the large bump heal, also applying warm wet cloths to the area or soaking in a warm shallow tub every day can also help.

Try for the future to use only unscented or hypoallergenic wipes to help prevent this in the future.

I suggest you keep our GYN appointment so the doctor can make sure that it is healing properly and that you have the correct diagnosis. They also can XXXXXXX it if it is a boil and not going away on its own.

I hope I adequately answered your question and that my advice was helpful. If you need anything further, do not hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes, Dr. Brown
