Suggest Treatment For Bump Under The Penile Shaft
Question: I had a very small, white bump on the under shaft of my penis that felt hard to the touch, as if it were a scab. I scrapped it off with a fingernail and it left a larger sore that immediately bled slightly.
I shave my pubic region weekly with a groomer. I thought this might be a scar from a previous XXXXXXX but I'm not sure, or maybe an ingrown hair.
I have had HPV warts and musculossum - which this does not resemble - and I have also tested positive for HSV-1.
Can you help identify please from that description.

Thank you for your fast response, Dr. XXXXXXX I just uploaded a photo of the sore left after I picked the "scab". The "scab" was much smaller, whitish in color and felt hard to the touch.

Thanks for the photograph.
It is an ulcer now as you have scratched it.
Probably it was a bacterial infection.
Apply an antibiotic cream like mupirocine twice daily for a week.
This will help you.
If a lesion develops again you can send me a picture.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
