Brief Answer:
Anxiety can cause such symptoms but medical reasons should be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hello welcome to HCM

You are 29 years old and have sudden rise in Blood pressure (138/98), tremors in body, dry mouth and rapid heart rate. The doctors said it was acid reflux.

Considering your age and the symptoms you have mentioned I can come to opinion that such symptoms can occur due to some common medical conditions but to ascertain proper diagnosis consultation and examination by a doctor is needed.

First of all I want to tell you that Blood pressure of 138/98 cant be considered as in hypertensive range. It is high normal BP and cross-sectional reading in high range once cant be considered as abnormal considering your age. Raise in BP to this range can occur even due to anxiety in hospital (also called as white coat hypertension), or even if Bp was measured after taking some fluids like tea. So there is no need to worry.

Tremors, dry mouth, rise in BP, palpitations can occur due to acid reflux but other reasons of such symptoms should be ruled out. For any cardiac cause of such symptoms you should get your ECG done to rule out the cause. If cardiac cause is ruled out then other possibilities like anxiety attacks can present with such symptoms. Anxiety may result in palpitations, rise in BP, tremors in body and chocking sensation in throat. Visit your doctor and consult about these possibilities. Low dose anti anxiety drugs as benzodiazepines like alprazolam can help to control these symptoms and will provide relief. Visit your doctor for proper evaluation and treatment. As per my opinion there is no need to worry.

Brief Answer:
Normal ECG and ECHO rule out cardiac causes for your symptoms

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for follow up query

If ECG and ECHO came normal then cardiac cause has been ruled out then we are left with anxiety as main possible reason for your symptoms. Severe anxiety attacks or panic may present with tremors, palpitations, rise in BP, dry mouth, breathlessness etc symptoms. Some times due to breathlessness dull chest pain also develop. Visit your doctor again and discuss about anxiety as possibility or visit a psychiatrist.
