Suggest Treatment For Body Pain And Fatigue While On Thyronorm
Question: My wife is 53 years old.she had menopause since last 8 years.she is diagnosed with hypo thyroid. She is regularly taking thyronorm tablet 75mg.as prescribed.Now she has a cute body pain and toouch of weakness.After little exertion she feels like drained out.All reports are normal except thyroid.She has long standing trouble of cervical pain (around back of neck and shoulder blades) please suggest.

She is taking thyronorm 75 since last two years and beside that supplements of multivitamins & calcium.
When detected T3-37.2
T4-2.04
TSH-11.81
NOW T3- 101
T4- 10
TSH-5.02
she is having continuesly chee chee sound in left ear.

Thyroxine dose needs to be increased to 88mcg.
Detailed Answer:
dear Sir, thanks for your reply.
As the thyroid is still not balanced, she needs to increase the dose to 88 mcg per day. The dose needs to be taken empty stomach early morning. Another 30 min fast is to be observed over the tablet.
She is already on calcium and multivitamin supplements, calcium 1 gm per day. Kindly add vitamin D 60,000 IU per week.
for sounds in ear i.e. tinnitus, she must see an ENT specialist.
review after 12 weeks with TSH and FT4.
