Suggest Treatment For Bloating And GERD
Question: I have had pronounced bloating and GERD since last evening. Have 99.5 fever and mild stomach cramp and no diarrhea. Doctor put me on ofloxacin and ornidazole combination for 5 days. Paracetamol 650mg doesn't seem to reduce my fever and fatigue at all. What should I do? Should I change medicine for fever reduction ?

Your doctor very rightly prescribed this medicine and continue them.
Having paracetamol 650 mg is quite proper medicine and dose for fever.
Important is to take plenty of water and liquids to avoid dehydration due to excess perspiration.
There is no need to change or increase paracetamol for fever.
Fever might remain for 2-3 days, so continue paracetamol round the clock, 6-8 hourly till fever comes to normal.
Meanwhile antibiotic medicine will start working and infection will be under control.
Take light diet, fruit juices and lemon water or juice.
