Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic

Iam Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

It seems from the history that you are having shingles. Shingles is a viral disease caused by herpes zoster virus which is the reactivation of chicken pox virus which is usually acquired in childhood. It commonly involves the the skin supplied by a dermatome of the nerve and it is typically restricted to mid line and it won't cross to the other side.

In face it involves the trigeminal nerve. It can involve the eyes in a condition called as herpes zoster ophthalmicus. However the commonest variety usually involves the skin of the face involving the skin of the eyelids. It is characterized by the formation of vesicular rashes over the affected skin.
Hence no need to worry as all shingles does not involve the eye. The eye involvement is characterized by the presence of symptoms like redness, watering, visual impairment... Since you does not seem to be having these symptoms eye involvement may not be there in your case.

The treatment of shingles is by the use of antiviral drugs like acyclovir, I think you will be on treatment with this as per advise of your physician the same treatment will hold good for shingles of eye also.
If there is eye involvement with the symptoms as I have mentioned above, then treatment is required in the form of topical antiviral eye ointments like acyclovir eye ointment. This can be started with consultation of a ophthalmologist.

Hence no need to worry as now you are having involvement of the skin above the eye.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you
