Brief Answer:
This could be due to bipolar disorder

Detailed Answer:
Hi thanks for asking from HCM

If you are not happy with him and he keep insulting you and throws things then better to rethink about staying with him. His behaviour like repetitive bad behaviour towards you, throwing things, hitting himself, dominating behaviour etc suggest some mood disorder and should be evaluated properly. If possible please discuss with with a psychiatrist for his symptoms. Bipolar disorder could be a possibility. In bipolar disorder individuals show dominating behaviour. If he doesn't agree to visit a psychiatrist then tell him sternly that you will not tolerate the bad behaviour, and if he doesn't improve then if possible rethink about your decision to stay with him.

Thanks, Take care
