Question: Is there any treatment or cure for Bent Spinne Syndrome? I've been suffering with it for over 10 years, unable to stand up straight or sit without suppport.

There is no definitive treatment about bent spine syndrome, or camptocormia.

Treatment ways depend on the cause of this syndrome.

If primary bent spine syndrome (no evident other related medical conditions), treatment focuses on relieving pain if any, osteoporosis treatment, good nutrition and hydration, physical therapy and body weight control.

If bent spine syndrome is secondary, or related to other medical conditions such hypothyroidism, Parkinson disease, good control of these conditions, besides above mentioned measures, are needed.

Lightweight appropriate braces are used also.
