Brief Answer:
Mucinex is not known to cause this side effect.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns.

Mucinex is not known to cause this side effect.

What is the colour of the discharge? Is it watery? From what you have written, you seem to have bacterial vaginosis. It is caused by imbalance of bacteria normally present in vagina. The exact cause for this is not known. A small possibility that you may be having other bacterial vaginal infection. Please consult doctor for internal examination and vaginal swab test to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.

Best wishes,
Dr Rama
