Question: Yesterday I was having an itchy eye with iritation and rubbed my right eye and slept over.Today morning my eyes became red under the lower eye lids and yellow discharge started in right eye. After a while the consistency of yellow discharge increased and it started to come from left eye as well. I also have little pain when I feel my eyes.
Yellow discharge is consistent in the corners and becomes sticky. is it a bacterial or Viral infection ? could you prescribe any drops ? eye hospitals are closed today , please help .
