Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that it is important performing a comprehensive differential diagnosis of different causes that may lead to your symptoms:

- an autoimmune or connective tissue disorder
- a metabolic disorder like adrenal gland or thyroid gland disorder
- a brain lesion.

For this reason, I would recommend performing further tests:

- ESR and PCR for inflammation
- thyroid hormone levels
- cortisol plasma levels
- a brain MRI
- a chest X ray study and respiratory function tests
- iron, folic acid and vitamin B12 levels to investigate for the possible causes of anemia
- blood electrolytes and vitamin D levels for possible deficiency

I would like to review your cardiac ultrasound report for another second professional opinion.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr.Iliri
